Shipping Policy
Shipping charges for all online purchases at Mapleguys.com are calculated based on weight. Handling fees are included to cover packing materials and our time and costs. Due to the limitations of our website shipping calculator for purchases weighing over 40 lbs., shipping costs may be more than what our online shopping cart calculates. In that case, the customer will be notified of additional shipping costs prior to the ordered being processed and shipped. The standard shipping methods are primarily UPS, with the occasional small package being sent USPS Priority Mail. In the event that our online calculator makes an error upon checkout, we reserve the right to correct the error and notify the customer via email. Accordingly, if customer chooses the "pick up" option at checkout, resulting in no shipping charges to be added to their order total, and they are NOT a local customer, we will charge appropriate shipping fees.
We attempt to ship all paid (and cleared) in-stock orders within three business days of order receipt. Large orders may take longer to ship. In that case, we will email customer with approximately ship date. A payment is considered cleared when Mapleguys.com is in receipt of the funds. If paying by PayPal, it is cleared as soon as PayPal notifies us that the funds have cleared. Be aware, if you elect to pay by PayPal’s eCheck method, that type of payment can take several days to clear. Credit card payments are cleared as soon as we process the charge and get an authorization.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS are subject to additional shipping charges – Buyer will be notified via email of additional shipping charges after they have been determined by Mapleguys.com, but before the order ships.
